I left my corporate job in marketing and advertising at Young & Rubicam in Germany, one of the most highly respected firms in the world. As Managing Director at Young & Rubicam, I had to figure out what the objectives of our clients were and develop a strong strategy to achieve those goals.
After relocating to California in 2005 I trained as a business coach and real estate agent. I asked myself: How can I apply the successful strategies I used over the last 20 years to the real estate industry?
I thought about: What do sellers want? What are their fears? What are the risks? How can they be assured they’re not leaving money on the table? How can they find out whom trust? What plan do they need to sell their home? What would be a good strategy?
I decided to go on a journey to answer these questions just like I had to do as Managing Director for Young & Rubicam.
This is what I found out:
